Quinn Cao (she/they), Program & Advocacy Coordinator, MSW

Quinn is a social worker and therapist, specializing in working with survivors of abuse and sexual violence. Their contributions to We Are HER include chairing the organization’s first annual mental health scholarship committee, hosting digital meetups for survivors, and serving as an advocate at the We Are HER retreats. When they’re not out social working in the community, you can find Quinn working on an art project or herding her two cats, Bean and Stew.

Emily Kempe (she/her), Program Coordinator, MSW

Emily Kempe is the host of the We are HER podcast. She also runs other programming and outreach at HER including online advocacy and the virtual survivor meetups. Emily got her undergraduate degree in Nonprofit Leadership and Management from Arizona State University. She recently graduated with a Masters of Social Work from the University of Montana. She loves being outdoors with her dog.

China Reevers (she/her), Marketing & Event Coordinator

China joined the We Are HER team in 2019 as our marketing manager. With years of experience planning events, digital marketing, and community building, we’ve been able to greatly expand our programming due to China’s work and valuable insight. When she’s not planning our next event, you can usually find China on the mountain snowboarding.

gabby Schwartz (she/her), program coordinator, MPH

Gabby joined the We Are HER team in 2021. She was a guest on Season 2 of the We Are HER podcast and one of the hosts for the first We Are HER retreat. Gabby has her Masters of Public Health from Boston University and works full-time in the anti-violence field. When she’s not thinking about prevention and advocacy, Gabby enjoys spending time with her dog Georgie, growing her book collection, and kickboxing.
