Whether we're consciously aware or not, we're fed narratives about trauma, survivorship, and healing our whole lives. While we often hear these stories even before their meanings carry any personal connection for us, they can become deeply ingrained in the way we think and view ourselves and others.

In this circle, we'll explore the aspects of our individually held narratives that are our own and those that may not be. Through reflection and journaling, we'll make space to caringly generate our own narratives, powered by our own lived experiences.

This isn't about retelling your trauma story. It's about examining the stories you've been told about what it means to be a survivor and deciding which parts are yours to keep and which parts you're ready to release.

WHAT TO EXPECT

This is a 90-minute virtual workshop where you'll:

  • Reflect on the narratives you've inherited about trauma and healing

  • Explore which stories serve you and which don't

  • Use journaling prompts to generate your own narrative

  • Connect with other survivors in a supportive space

  • Leave with practices you can continue using on your own

This workshop is grounded in care. We'll move at a pace that honors everyone's capacity. You're welcome to participate as much or as little as feels right for you.

what you’ll need
